Hello

My name is NEFTALI and I have learned a lot about the importance of being understood and perhaps even more importantly taking the time to understand others. These sound like simple things, but nothing can be further from the truth. Especially in today's hyper-interconnected world where information is made accessible instantaneously, good information is mixed in with misinformation or worse... disinformation! Interactions between each other is made with our thumbs on a smartphone and everyone is screaming to be heard.

In my life as a construction worker for almost 10 years, a police officer for 27, and now these last 6 years serving as a college instructor I have experienced a varied cross section of people, places and circumstances. 

I didn't always get it right, but I always learned the life lessons people shared with me in all of those years.  My purpose with Mentores Valent is to serve as a teacher sharing what I know about people... becoming aware of places ....and being able to adapt to ever-changing circumstances.

These skills are invaluable to employees in the workplace dealing with each other and customers. Arming field workers with becoming more aware of the surroundings and dealing with unexpected friction with the public and even helping individuals more effectively network themselves for that next opportunity.
